Operations begin at the Serbia plant, our second plant in Europe

Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Mayekawa) opened and started operations at a plant in Smederevo, Serbia in May, the second production site in Europe after our Brussels plant in Belgium.

The plant will focus on design, manufacturing, sales, and after sales service of compressor packages for industrial refrigeration to ship products to mainly Russia, the Middle East, and Africa. The plant will also contribute to increasing sales of complete packages like chiller packages and expanding the number of packages shipped to the European market in the future.
