MAYEKAWA announces Effect of the Earthquake off the Pacific Coast of Tohoku.

The company would like to express its deepest sympathy to all those who are suffering from the earthquake happened on March 11th, 2011 in Northeastern Japan and pray for the swift recovery of the disaster area.

MAYEKAWA Emergency Headquarters, established at the head office in Tokyo, confirmed that all employees were safe but the local Sales & Service offices in the area had suffered damages and currently remain closed. The Emergency Headquarters is managing activities aimed at providing support to the affected areas and the customers, and dispatched service crew from Tokyo.

Other MAYEKAWA's buildings and production facilities had suffered minimal affects, including compressor production base in Ibaraki prefecture. The company will continue regular production after the inspection of all machine tools and the equipment.
